Missouri's Running Game Proves to be Too Much for Texas A&M's Defense

No one would have thought that the Missouri Tigers would be in the position they are now prior to the start of the season. Last year these guys looked every bit of what they were expected to look like their first season in the SEC--out of their league.

After Saturday's 28-21 win over Texas A&M they have all but proven that they are the class of the conference now.

It was tough to figure out how this one was going to go before it started. Johnny Manziel has proven to be rather adept at picking apart even the best of defenses (but than he got handled pretty well by LSU last week).  The Aggies defense has been suspect against the run all season; could Missouri run roughshod over them and turn this one into a route?

What fans got was a well-coached game for the most part played by two talented adversaries. The defenses for both teams played well overall, but in the end it was the strength of the Tigers running game that proved to be the difference maker against an Aggies defense that has been porous against the run all year.

So for today the field belongs to Missouri as the better team won.
