Nebraska Wins One in the Big House; Snaps Michigan's Winning Streak at Home

The last 19 times someone came into the Big House--other wise known as Michigan Stadium--it was the home team that came away a winner. That was not the case when the Nebraska Cornhuskers came to town on Saturday.

From Bleacher Report
Nebraska jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter, but saw it slowly slip away as the offense  became bogged down in the second and third quarters gaining only 42 yards on six drives. Michigan was not able to do much better, but with a little over eight minutes to play they were able to take a 13-10 lead.

When the Cornhuskers needed it most they were finally able to get some offense going. On the drive following Michigan's field goal in the fourth Nebraska marched the ball down the field on a 14-play, 75 yard drive that ended with Ameer Abdullah taking a short pass from Tommy Armstrong Jr eight yards for the go-ahead score.

The win improves Nebraska to 7-2 overall and 4-1 in conference play and should go a long way towards getting some of Bo Pelini's detractors off his back. At the same time it might add a few to Brady Hoke's. The Wolverines fall to 6-3 overall and 2-3 in conference play.

The last time it lost more than two conference games was in Rich Rodriguez's last season.
