Texas Tech's Best Play Was From the Punter?

At one point in the season the Texas Tech Red Raiders were in the top 10 of the nation and the hottest team on the planet. Five weeks later they still have the best passing attack in the nation, but can't win a game to save their lives.

They had hoped to change their fortune against the Texas Longhorns Thursday night, but well--it didn't quite happen.

The Longhorns running game ruled the day with 281 yards rushing making it hard for the Red Raiders to get much going--and could explain why this accidental fake punt in the first quarter was the best play of the day for Texas Tech.

A 7-0 start was a great way to start the Kliff Kingsbury Era, but the five game losing streak certainly puts a damper on it. At least the Red Raiders will have a bowl game so they can end the season on the right note.
