So to 'honor' the wit and wisdom that is Jerry I am going to try and do a regular post called: This Week in Jerry Jones Says...
This past week he tried to explain why he let former defensive coordinator Rob Ryan go. With his team heading to New Orleans for a game on Sunday Night Football this reunion of sorts is one of the subplots for the night.
During a radio appearance he had this to say:
“I’ve been real impressed with how well their defense is playing,” Jones said on 105.3 The Fan [KRLD-FM]. “It doesn’t surprise me. I think so highly of Rob Ryan as a coach, frankly, as an imaginative coach and how he imaginatively approaches the game.
“He can have a lot going on and we wanted less going on. But that doesn’t make it right or wrong. He’s basically implemented it and executed it the way he wants to do it down there and they’re going to give us fits Sunday.”Umm...what?
I had to read this sucker a couple times to figure out what he was trying to say and I think it was this: Rob Ryan thought to much; he was creative--and Jerry didn't like that.
When he heard about it Rob Ryan was not too happy with his former boss (probably; hence the death stare).

His group in New Orleans--good.
So Jerry is saying that Rob made the game too hard for guys and that was why the Cowboys defense sucked. It had nothing to do with the mess of injuries he had to deal with. Nothing at all.
