Weather Won the Day in Chicago But the Bears Won the Game

The game between the Chicago Bears and Baltimore Ravens was easily the craziest one of the day; not because of anything that happened on the field, but what was happening above it.

From Bleacher Report
Severe weather caused the game to be suspended and sent people looking for cover. When you see a sky look like this early in the afternoon I can understand why.

From Bleacher Report
News coverage talked about tornado warnings all over the Midwest, and prompted stadium officials to have fans get out of the stands and find cover.

In case you were wondering why Chicago is called the Windy City:

I love my football, but with conditions as bad as they were I don't think I would have stayed and waited it out. Even when the game did continue the conditions were still pretty crummy. At least fans got their money's worth with an overtime game won by the home team 23-20 in overtime.

Than again, maybe they would have preferred a game that ended a bit quicker so they could get out of the weather.
