What Made Detroit's Nick Fairley Do This?
When you are a big guy playing football there are certain things that you don't want to do. You never eat hard boiled eggs before a game. You never wear any clothes that do not start with XL in the size, and you don't ever waste energy if you can avoid it.
So why in the world is Nick Fairley doing this?
Because he had just stuffed the Chicago Bears attempt to tie the game with a two-point conversion.
Oh--and the game was over (for the defense at least). So he didn't need to conserve energy anymore.
