Calgary Hitmen Teddy Bear Toss is One of the Coolest Promotions Ever!

Around the holidays there are a lot of things that go on in and around sports. We are going to have bowl games coming up pretty soon. The NBA is breaking out some new uniforms for the Christmas Day games. The NFL regular season will be winding down meaning playoff races will getting intense.

All those things are great, but the coolest event took place on the ice Saturday at the home of the Calgary Hitmen of the WHL--the Teddy Bear Toss!

For the 19th straight season the team hosted the Teddy Bear Toss; an event where fans are encouraged to bring teddy bears to the game. When the home team scores its first goal the fans throw the bears on to the ice. 

All the bears are donated to kids over the holidays. So if you have ever wanted to see thousands of teddy bears flying through the air now you can:
