Good News for Notre Dame Fans About Everett Golson; Expected to be Readmitted Soon

The season didn't go how the Fighting Irish had hoped. Missing the guy that led the team to the BCS title game kind of hurt, but one player does not a winning program make. That being said, getting that player back will certainly help get the team on the right track for next season, and it looks like it is going to happen.

Yes, Notre Dame fans. Everett Golson is going to be readmitted to the university.

Golson has applied for readmission and while he is not expected to be denied you never know until the process is done. From what ESPN has learned it appears that he should officially be back in school very soon (ESPN):
"I've been assured that based upon all of the information that has been provided that he's going to be readmitted on Dec. 13, and that information has been provided to admissions," Head Coach Brian Kelly told ESPN.com. "It's just a matter of them sending out the admittance letter and then being back on campus sometime around the 15th of December."
Golson will not be able to practice with the Fighting Irish during their bowl-game preparations. Golson cannot travel with the team to its to-be-determined bowl site, either."

So there you have it Irish fans. It's not quite official yet, but your quarterback is going to come back!
