Houston Texans Taking it to the New England Patriots; Lead 17-7 at the Half

To say its been a rough season for the Houston Texans would be an understatement, but it is what is by now, right? At this point what the fans can hope for is to see some good football out of their team in the remaining games so that they have a reason to think that next year can/will be better.

So far against the New England Patriots they are getting just that!

From Bleacher Report
Ben Tate has been able to get it going running for 70 yards on 14 carries in the first half and scoring two touchdowns. Keenum has one interception on the day, but has otherwise done a decent job leading the offense.

The defense has done its job as well; a tough task against a Tom Brady led team. Jonathan Joseph has intercepted Brady once and the only score for the Patriots was a pass to Rob Gronkowski. They've also all but shut down the New England running game and have sacked Brady once.

From Bleacher Report
It is just one half, and there are few in the league that can make half time adjustments quite like the Patriots. During the nine-game slide the Texans have had a very hard time getting any offense going in the second half.

While it was a very nice half there is still another half to go. So go ahead and smile while you can Texans fans--and hope for the best.
