Is That a Hockey Puck in Your Pants or are You Happy to See Me?

This is one of those once in a blue moon kind of things that you don't need to be a fan of the sport in question to find hilarious. During play Monday night Phoenix Coyotes goalie Mike Smith had no choice but to score a goal on himself. Why?

Because the goal had fallen down his pants!

You can see that he's looking the other way so he doesn't see the puck fly down the backside of his pants. With all that gear on and in the hear of the moment I can see where he wouldn't have felt it either. As the goalie, since he didn't know where the puck went he knew he had to get ready to defend his net.

So he backs that *ss up into the goal.

Confusion ensued when the puck was suddenly gone. After a bit of searching they eventually figured out where it was, and since Smith had carried the puck into goal himself it was a point for the other team.

After the game he had the quote of all quotes:

"It's an honest game and if you don't play how you're supposed to play... you get it jammed right up your butt."

Such is life good sir. Such is life.
