Folks in the state of Texas love their football so suffice it to say there aren't too many--if any--that are real happy about the state of the Houston Texans. It's understandable too. At 2-14 they sucked. Fans know it, the opposition knew it, analysts know it, and even some of the players have admitted to knowing it.
Like J.J. Watt.
Watt sent this out into the Twitter universe Tuesday afternoon:
This season sucked. It's not acceptable and it won't happen again.

Not one to languish on the past he made it clear that he's moving on from the season, looking to the future, and appreciative of those that stuck through it:
With that being said, a new year and fresh start await. Thank you to all of the fans who stuck through thick & thin. Very much appreciated.

No worries J.J. We know you guys will be back in the thick of it in no time.
