With the status of Tony Romo up in the air for the NFC East Division Championship game with the Philadelphia Eagles the Dallas Cowboys have to be ready for the worst case scenario. What if Kyle Orton gets knocked out of the game? If he's in that means Romo is already out. The team only has two QBs on the roster--so who is going to play if the worst case scenario comes to fruition?
This guy.

The Cowboys have signed 41-year old veteran quarterback Jon Kitna to the roster to serve as the emergency quarterback for the regular season finale this Sunday. He may play; hopefu;;y he will not. Either way he is going to get a great Christmas present from Jerry Jones--a game check.
I don't care how much it is. It is still going to be pretty darn good for showing up to practice for a few days and getting a great spot on the sideline to watch the game.
That's non the best part though. The Cowboys didn't even bother to have him work out. No, they called up a 41-year old that has not played since 2011 and offered him the job.
Merry Christmas Jon Kitna!
