Sorry Peyton But Russell Wilson is the NFL MVP This Season

There is not a player in the NFL that is more dynamic, exciting, and productive than Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. Yeah, I know all about Peyton Manning and the man is fantastic, but Wilson has less talent than Peyton and is doing just as good if not better!

Could you ever imagine Peyton pulling off something like this?

A lot of folks will point to the crazy stats that Peyton has thrown up this season and say there is no way the MVP can be anyone, but him. I'd like to remind those folks that stats are not all there is to the game. Besides, if you want to look at them Russell is smoking Peyton in the one that matters most.

Wins.

  2. Smoking him in wins? Didn't know one more win was considered smoking him. You're high if you think Peyton doesn't win MVP. He's on pace to set multipule passing records and you wanna argue for Russel Wilson? Come on man! (Chris Carter Voice)

  3. So, just making I got this right...you want to give Russell Wilson the MVP because he can run?

  4. Wilson is getting it done in every facet of tge game and with less talent. Peyton is having a great season, but wilson ud diing as much or more with less. So yeah I'd give it to him if I had a vote.

  5. Smoking him in wins is a bit of reach, but there is something to the argument. If you just look at the stats it's Peyton's MVP hands down. If you take more than just stats into the game the vote should be close. I think it will all come down to how much the surrounding role players are credited with the team's success.

  6. Let's not forget about Cam Newton in this discussion.

  7. We would not even be having this conversation without Seattle's defense. You need to look at the close games and what did Wilson do vs. how did Seattle's defense save them. Look at the close games Denver had and you will see that it is Peyton who saved them.

    1. Denver has a pretty solid defense as well.

  8. If Seattle went 15-1 in the regular season and wins the Super Bowl, there would be no option but to give Wilson the MVP.

    1. wow! As great as the Seahawks are, national bias will never stop. we call it East Coast bias . The cream always rises to the top and who cares who wins MVP. Russell Wilson doesn't. I suspect.
