Assuming the source is right this is going to make Houston's decision on what to do with the No. 1 pick a lot harder. There are a handful of very good quarterbacks coming out this season and Houston doesn't necessarily need to the No. 1 pick to get one.
So they could trade down in order to get some additional picks in the later rounds and still get a solid player.
At 6'4" and 230 pounds he has the size that NFL coaches want in their quarterbacks and the athleticism to be a threat with his arm and his legs. In the Fiesta Bowl he ran for 93 yards and a touchdown on eight carries and threw for 301 yards and three touchdowns.
He may not be the same kind of dual threat that a Johnny Manziel is, but he is one nonetheless.
