Blake Bortles Makes Houston's Decision Tougher; Declares for Draft

Most of the world did know who Blake Bortles was prior to the Fiesta Bowl, but he definitely made sure they' remember his name--and for more than just his hot girlfriend. Folks were finally able to understand why he was rated so high by analyst in mock drafts. The only question was whether or not he would be in it.

Well--we now know the answer.

From Bleacher Report
According to the local paper over there in sunny Florida (I'm stuck in the Midwest so yes, I'm jealous) he is going to declare for the 2014 Draft.

Assuming the source is right this is going to make Houston's decision on what to do with the No. 1 pick a lot harder. There are a handful of very good quarterbacks coming out this season and Houston doesn't necessarily need to the No. 1 pick to get one.

So they could trade down in order to get some additional picks in the later rounds and still get a solid player.

At 6'4" and 230 pounds he has the size that NFL coaches want in their quarterbacks and the athleticism to be a threat with his arm and his legs. In the Fiesta Bowl he ran for 93 yards and a touchdown on eight carries and threw for 301 yards and three touchdowns.

He may not be the same kind of dual threat that a Johnny Manziel is, but he is one nonetheless.
