Jameis Winston a Little Excited in Post Game Interview; A.J. McCarron's Mom Sends (and deletes) Insulting Tweet

My own birthday was Saturday. I had biscuits and gravy with sausage for breakfast and a killer steak for dinner and got to watch football all day. Jameis Winston played in and won the final BCS National Championship.

Yeah. He won (even though it was an awesome breakfast and steak).

After the game Winston was caught pretty quick for a post game interview. He was clearly pretty excited and a little all over the place, but there was one thing that was clear--this kid loves the game and the people around him.

Personally, I found his speech refreshing. Too often players at the college level (and especially the pro) appear to forget that they are playing a game; the same thing that they used to do with their friends back when they were kids.

Just now it's in front of 80,000 people.

While he was all over the place I didn't think he was hard to understand at all (so he was excited, messed a few things up, and used a word or two incorrectly). Apparently A.J. McCarron's mom Dee Dee felt differently:

I imagine we will see an apology tweet soon.
