LSU Running Back Jeremy Hill Entering Draft After All

LSU fans got some good news last week when word spread that they were going to see running back Jeremy Hill back on the gridiron next season. As well as he ran last season--203 carries, 1401 yards, and 16 touchdowns--it was a little surprising. Then again with two seasons of eligibility remaining he could easily cement his status as a first round pick with another solid year in college.

Even though the word was he was staying he still had time to declare if he wanted to.

With the money that is available to guys in the NFL you can't blame him for going pro now. Now that most teams use a running back by committee approach he will likely not be asked to take a full load right off the bat so he'll still have time to develop his game.

As far as LSU fans are concerned--with this guy coming in next season the running attack will be just fine.
