New England Patriots Score 43 Points on Colts Without a Single Passing Touchdown

A very strange thing happened Saturday night. No, the fact the Patriots won is not it. The New England offense scoring 43 isn't either.  LeGarrette Blount dominating the game was a little surprising, but not exactly strange. Tom Brady didn't have a great night, but even the best have off games sometimes (there was a reason for it though).

What was strange was how the team scored those 43 points--on six rushing touchdowns!

Blount did the bulk of the work on his 24 carries. Stevan Ridley chimed in with two more (one above and the other below) on 14 carries.

Everyone wondered how the Patriots would do without Rob Gronkowski. Well, I think this kind of answers it. They may change their identity somewhat, but in the end it is the same old Patriots. Like every other season they just seem to find a way to win.
