Odell Beckham Reminds Us How Awesome He Is

With just 57 catches during the regular season some might overlook the value that Odell Beckham has to the LSU Tigers. If they do they must not have finished reading the stat line, because the young man had over 1100 yards and eight touchdowns to show for with those 57 catches.

In spite of his average size (6-foot, 187 pounds) Beckham has a nose for the ball and a knack for making big plays. Against Iowa in the Outback Bowl he proved that once again with one handed grab

I haven't heard any news about his draft status. As a junior he could declare for the draft if he wanted to. The only thing I can think that would hold him back would be he's not what NFL scouts like to see in receivers (6'5" and 235 pounds--like Calvin Johnson).

His lack of size may put him in the middle to back end of the draft, but whoever does get him (be it this year or next) will get a play maker they'll be real happy to have.
