Rob Ryan Needs a Haircut if he Wants to be a Head Coach

When you think of a head coach in the NFL there are certain things that come to mind--like knowledge of the game, ability to manage people, knack for evaluating talent, crisis management, etc. What you don't really think of though is hair.

If Rob Ryan ever wants to be a head coach he is going to need to.

Like his Dad and brother he knows a thing or two about defense. After doing what he could with the injury riddled Dallas defense he was let go, but proved Jerry Jones made a mistake by turning the Saints in to a heck of a unit this year.

However, according to some NFL executives if he ever wants to be more than a defensive coordinator he is going to have to do one thing--cut his crazy dew.

“If he wants to be a head coach, he has to cut his hair,” executives told Mort, per Brown. “It is about image for these guys. They want a CEO-type. That’s what they want.”

Go ahead and laugh. You know you want to.

That has to be one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. So what if the man looks like he ate a wild beast and is a wild beast. If he knows the game, he knows the game; winning is what counts. Heck, as entertaining as his well-groomed brother is in New York can you imagine how much fun Rob would be?
