Seattle Seahawks Making it Hard for San Francisco 49ers Fans to Buy NFC Championship Tickets

I will admit--I was pulling for the Panthers against San Francisco Sunday, but I'm glad they didn't win. Why? Well, because another game between two division rivals like the 49ers and Seahawks is going to be too much fun for bloggers.

And who doesn't like to have fun?

From NinersNation.com
With the crazy antics that these two fan bases resorted to during the season (billboards, planes pulling banners and such) I can only imagine what these folks are going to do with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line.

It looks like Seattle has thrown out the first salvo by making it harder for 49ers fans to make the trip a few hours north to see the game. How? Fans in California are not going to be allowed to buy tickets.

According to the team's website only folks with billing addresses in Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Alaska, Hawaii and the Canadian provinces of British Columbia and Alberta.

Yes, people in Hawaii and Alaska are good, but not California.

I get it. It's a home-field advantage thing. If you force 49ers fans to buy off the secondary market it will likely make it a lot harder for them to make the game.

But Hawaii and Alaska? It's too funny if you ask me.

Shots fired 49ers. Whatcha got?
