When it's early in the second quarter of a playoff game and your team is down 17-7 there is one thing you don't want to do--turn the dang ball over. So when Colts running back Trent Richardson put the ball on the ground and gave the Chiefs a short field (which they scored another touchdown from) it did not bode well for him.
Sure enough he did not carry the ball again. Question now has to be whether they should give him the ball at all next week.

Since coming over from Cleveland the former No. 3 pick in the draft has not done well. Yeah, he did get thrust in to the game pretty quick after the trade and did not really have enough time to learn the offense, but that doesn't excuse a per carry average under three yards (157 carries for 458 yards; 2.9 per carry).
It has to be make you wonder if GM Ryan Grigsom is wishing he could reverse the trade. He at least should be kicking himself for making it, but he might be waiting till Draft Day to do that.
