WATCH: How Close Phil Dawson's Game Winning Kick Came to Being Blocked

Sunday's wild card game was a cold one, but on the field it was one of the most hotly contested games of the weekend. The lead went back and forth in the second half, but in the end it was the San Francisco 49ers that walked away a winner thanks to Phil Dawson's 33-yard field goal as time expired.

But it almost wasn't!

Green Bay's Davon House nearly blocked the kick, but fate was with the 49ers as the ball sailed right through his arms.

Had he blocked it--who knows what would have happened. What we would have had was a nice little controversy if the Packers had won because House was offsides.
