Who the Heck is UCF Wide Receiver Rannell Hall?

The Fiesta Bowl was supposed to be a game about the two quarterbacks, UCF's Blake Bortles and Baylor's Bryce Petty. Both have had their moments; both have also had their not so good moments. If there was one player that has really made a difference it would be UCF wide receiver Rannell Hall.

Now if you are like me and have never watched UCF play you are likely asking yourself a question--who the heck is Rannell Hall?

From Bleacher Report
There is a pretty good reason he is not that well known. He doesn't have much of a resume. This season as a junior he pulled in 53 catches during the regular season for 773 yards and three touchdowns; nothing to shake a stick at, but nothing special either.

In high school it was much of the same. As a junior he only had 12 catches for 200 yards and 2 touchdowns; as a senior he had 26 catches for 357 yards and 4 touchdowns. Eh--not bad, but definitely nothing special.

From Bleacher Report
The man is fast as hell though (4.5 back in the day in high school), and played well enough in an all-star game and at a Nike football camp in Miami to get the attention of the UCF staff.

So basically he has been one of those kids that has all the talent in the world, but just needs the chance to break loose. He doesn't have a catch in the second half, but he does have three for the game for 90 yards and two touchdowns (see above).

I would be shocked if he came out this year, but if he did I could see him being a 6th or 7th round pick; definitely a free agent invite. If he returns and can become a larger part of the offense for UCF next year he'll go higher.
