Florida Likely Number 1 Next Week After Escaping With a Win Against Auburn [VIDEO]

In a perfect world your team is going to win because it looked good and played the better overall game--but this is far from a perfect world. That being said, sometimes a team has to be happy with an ugly win.

Florida certainly got one of them Wednesday night against Auburn.



Thanks to Auburn's gaffe the stage was set for Florida to sneak away with a win. Thanks to Syracuse falling to Boston College there is no reason for the Gators not to be No. 1 in the next poll. That is, assuming they can get by Ole Miss on Saturday.

They should, but as Boston College proved what should happen doesn't always happen.
