Michael Sam Tweets Perfect Response to Lobbyist That Wants to Ban Gay Players From the NFL

Michael Sam had to know there would be some backlash when he told the world that he is gay. There have been some that verbally or electronically lashed out as expected, but one lobbyist is attempting to take it to another level.

He wants to ban Sam and any other gay player from every playing in the NFL.

Tuesday Sam tweeted a rather appropriate response to the lobbyist, Jack Burkman:

Jack Burkman is going to need a Delorian, not some bogus bill, if he wants to prevent gay athletes from being in the locker room

It is not surprising that there is someone like Burkman doing what he is doing. Every is entitled to their own opinion and can make their own choices. So if Burkman wants to spend the time and money to pursue this course of action that is up to him.

What will be surprising is if he finds a politician willing to commit career suicide and actually sponsor it.
