The Duke/Syracuse game ended up having just about everything that fans could hope for. We're talking high scoring, clutch play by two of the best teams in the nation led by two legendary coaches. The only thing about great games like this though are eventually they have to come to an end and only one team can win.
But if everyone could walk away a winner--well, where would the fun be in that?

Duke hit a three pointer as time expired to send the game to overtime, but in the end the court belonged to the Orange. The Blue Devils had a chance to win late in the game when Rodney Hook went for a dunk with about 13-14 seconds on the clock, but missed.
Final Score: Syracuse 91 Duke 89
