We fell in love with the
Jamaican Bobsled team thanks to the classic Disney Movie Cool Runnings and years later they are still awesome. In as far as their competitive level goes--well, they aren't that god. That's not what matters though. These guys embody the Olympic spirit in that they are doing their best to represent their country--no matter the odds--on a global stage.
Oh--and they have an awesome theme song.
Yeah, this sucker is official and not something someone with a lot of time on their hands and a computer created. According to the Jamaican Tourist Board and message at the end of the video if you watch it during the team's run the beats will line up with the turns in the run.
Whether that is the case or not doesn't matter--the tune is awesome and definitely worth a listen. So feel the rhythm, feel the rhyme--and press play.
So other countries may have medals when the day is over, some will gain internet notoriety for breaking out of bathrooms and getting trapped in elevators, but only one has a theme song that people can dance to.
