There are occasions when shooting a basketball with one hand is warranted. Many dunks are one-handed. Lay-ups are one-handed. Than there is the sky hook--also one-handed. But free throws outside of a game of horse?
For American U's Tony Wroblicky the answer is yes.

Wisconsin is giving American U the spanking most figured they would (51-25 with 12 minutes to go in the second half) so the game is--well, it's not very interesting. That is with the exception of the one-handed free throw shooter.
Apparently Tony Wroblicky was shooting right around 50 percent when the coaches got him to try going with one hand. He's not a great free throw shooter by any means still, but he did improve to 72 percent this season.
Up to the 12 minute mark in the second half he was 3-4 from the line so it looks like he is staying the course.
