As the old saying goes—offense wins game and defense wins championships. However, neither unit is worth much without solid, quality linemen.

They are called the Big Boys, the Men in the Trenches, the Run Stoppers, and simply some big ole sons of guns. On the roster they are called defensive linemen—and they are in short supply for the Dallas Cowboys.
Dallas has had some solid play in the trenches over the last few years from guys like DeMarcus Ware, Anthony Spencer, and Jason Hatcher, but with all three not getting any younger Jerry Jones has decided not to try to resign any of them.
Ware was let go and has since signed a lucrative deal with the Denver Broncos.
The team will get to see Jason Hatcher twice next season when they play the Washington Redskins.
Anthony Spencer has yet to sign with another team, but he is expected to since Dallas is not interested in paying him much.....
