When I was a kid I loved catching foul balls at the local ballpark. I was never really close enough to one at a pro game (or a home run) to bother trying. If I thought I was close enough to give it a shot though I certainly would have. However, in the process I would have been mindful of the people around for no other reason than it's the right thing to do.
Apparently this jerk-off--who wasn't even close--does not subscribe to that philosophy.
What an idiot. It's not like he was even close! To sprint like that around so many people while looking up at an incoming ball was irresponsible and just plain stupid.
I hope he at least apologized and bought the kid a souvenir or something.
