It wasn't surprising when Michael Vick was cut from the Philadelphia Eagles. It wasn't surprising when Mark Sanchez was cut from the New York Jets either. What might have been a little surprising was when the Jets signed Vick.
What was not at all surprising was when the New York Daily News decided to go with a serious of dog related comments to welcome Vick to town.

I'm not a fan of Vick. At best the man was a stellar athlete, but he was never a stellar quarterback. I'd hesitate to call him good at anytime during his career other than when the took over for Kevin Kolb in 2010.
As a person I'll never care for the man either. What he did to those poor dogs is inexcusable. However, two wrongs do not make a right.
The digs the NY Daily News used to greet Vick are just wrong. For shame.
