Syracuse had to know it had a tough one on its hands in Virginia, but did the Orange imagine for a second that they would be dominated by the Cavaliers? Maybe after this dunk...
Even after Syracuse got out to a 29-0 start there were some that wondered just how good the Orange were after a couple buzzer beater wins over lesser quality teams. Those folks likely felt vindicated when Syracuse dropped one to lowly Boston College to fall from the unbeaten ranks.
Follow that up with a loss to Duke and now another against Virginia. They'll still be one of the top seeds when March Madness rolls around, but now their future is seriously in question.
After beating Syracuse 75-56 anyone that doesn't have the Cavaliers on their radar might want to put them their fast. Left for dead after losing to Tennessee by 35 points on December 30 the Cavaliers bounced back to go 16-1 in conference play and are holding on to a 13-game winning streak.
