WATCH: Andrew Wiggins Continues to Make His Case to be the No. 1 Pick

Kansas doesn't really know when--or if--it will get Joel Embiid back (hopefully next week). While that might suck for Jayhawks fans it's great for NBA scouts. That means they will get a chance to see if Andrew Wiggins can handle the load for his team under the pressure of the brightest lights college basketball has to offer.

What's the verdict after Friday's win over Eastern Kentucky? So far....

So good!

Wiggins led the way for Kansas scoring a team-high 19 to go along with four rebounds and a pair of blocks.

It might not be the dominating game scouts would like to see (like the WVU game), but it is one that KU fans are going to love. Five players scored in double figures and two--neither named Andrew Wiggins--recorded double doubles (Jamari Traylor--17 points, 14 rebounds coming off the bench; Perry Ellis--14 points, 13 rebounds).

So it may not be the Andrew Wiggins show, but it does mean it looks good for the Jayhawks to go deep in to the Tournament.
