WATCH: Pau Gasol Throws Down the Power Dunk But Still Manages to Fail

It had all the right elements of a solid power dunk for Pau Gasol. The big man got up as he split the defense (and I use that term loosely; it was pretty weak) and slammed that sucker down with authority. Has he let go of the rim, landed on his feet, and continued playing all would have been okay.

But no. Instead he hangs on to the rim just a little too long.
