Being a No. 5 seed sure hasn't paid off so far during the NCAA Tournament. First Harvard upset Cincinnati. Then there was North Dakota State taking down Oklahoma. NC State had a shot to beat Saint Louis but wasn't able to finish them off.
And than there was Stephen F. Austin.

The Lumberjacks needed a pair of missed free throws by VCU's Jordan Burgess and a four-point play from Desmond Haymon to send the game to overtime. Another three from Haymon put SFA ahead 74-73 with about two minutes left in OT and the Lumberjacks never trailed again.
SFA will play either UCLA or Tulsa in the Round of 32.
It wasn't too long ago that Shaka Smart was leading the upstart VCU team to March Madness glory. Now his squad is the one falling victim to Cinderella and going home early. Circle of Life maybe?
