Wichita State Was Just a Few Inches From Remaining Undefeated [GIF]
It is almost impossible for a college basketball team to go undefeated throughout an entire season; I'm talking about regular season, conference tournament, and the NCAA Tournament. No team has ever won as many games as the in single season, and the last time there was an undefeated champion it was in 1976.
This was how close the Wichita State Shockers came to continuing their journey to become the next one.
