San Francisco Transit System Accidentally Trolls 49ers Fans

San Francisco 49ers fans have had a lot on their plate this off-season. First there was the rumor that the Browns were trying to trade for head coach Jim Harbaugh. Now Colin Kaepernick is under investigation for sexual assault and Aldon Smith will probably not play much of next season (or at all) because he couldn't handle having to go through airport security like everyone else.

Now this. Their own transit system is trolling them.

The Bay Area Rapid Transit system (otherwise known as BART) will be rolling out some new cars soon and they have a color scheme that 49ers fans are not going to love--the same dang one as their hated rivals.

Those damn Seattle Seahawks.

Go ahead--shake your head and laugh a little.

You would have thought whoever approved the colors would have thought going with the same green and blue that the Seahawks wear would not go over well with the locals. They might have also thought no one would care because the whole point is to get from point A to point B.

It appears that it really is bothering some. A petition has been started at Change.org requesting that BART not go with the Seahawks inspired seats.

Considering what it will cost to replace them it is highly doubtful the colors will be changed by BART general manager Grace Crunican--who happened to be the Director of Seattle's Department of Transportation before taking this job.
