And the Winner of the 2014 Kentucky Derby is....California Chrome!

It's a day meant for the craziest, wildest, and most outlandish hats to be worn and called stylish. It's day for the mass consumption of mint juleps; some of them out of ridiculously expensive cups (excuse me, chalices). It's a day for the most exciting and fastest two minutes in sports.

I'm talking about the Run for the Roses--the Kentucky Derby!

And the winner is--California Chrome!

From the video it looks like Chrome--the favorite at 2:1--blew the competition away on the final stretch, but Commanding Curve made a serious charge at the end to make it look close at the finish line.
