Want to Help Colts HC Chuck Pagano Fight Cancer? It's Pretty Easy (and cost you nothing)!

It is not unusual for NFL head coaches to write books. It might be a little unusual for them to do it with only one full season under their belt, but not all have the kind of story to tell that Colts head coach Chuck Pagano has. He has opted to tell it in a book--Sidelined: Overcoming Odds Through Unity, Passion and Perseverance.

Through it he is continuing to do his part to aid in the fight against cancer--and could use a little help (seriously, it will not cost you a dime).

Pagano has already done a lot to aid in the fight against cancer through the ChuckStrong Foundation, but is hoping to do even more with his book. Rather than profit from its sale he has decided to donate his cut of the profits from sales to cancer-related charities.

Now before you click off the story and assume I lied about being able to help without spending a dime read on--I'll get to the point soon.

Probably one of the hardest things when it comes to book sales is publicity. People like to hear about the latest crazed psychos that James Patterson dreams up, but not so much true stories about football coaches. So in order to boost sales via publicity a campaign has been started on Thunderclap to do just that.

All you have to do is follow this link to the Thunderclap site and the campaign to support his book. All you need to do is agree to support the campaign by clicking on the Facebook, Twitter, or Tumblr icon.

If the campaign gets enough supporters on the date in question a message will be sent out through the social media channels people click saying this:

That's it. That's all you need to do. With just a handful of supporters the reach is already close to 8000. Should the campaign reach the necessary number the reach could be in the hundreds of thousands--if not millions!

With that kind of publicity there will likely be some sales generated (and future donations from Pagano).

Of course if you want to buy a book it will cost you some cash, but you don't have to. Help create a larger social reach and the message could trend which will than allow to reach more.
