By playing NFL scouts will have the ability to evaluate what he can do now (much better than only looking at his college tape).
Just in case that doesn't work he is already working on getting Plan B moving--coaching at his alma mater.
Collin Klein tells me that he is back and will serve on the K-State football staff in some capacity in 2014. Huge get for Bill Snyder.

The question now is how he is going to manage his time in Montreal playing football and his duties back at K-State in whatever capacity he is hired under. With the CFL season running through November and the college one starting in August he'll have to figure out how to be in two places at the same time (if anyone knows the answer feel free to share).

As it turns out he doesn't have to figure out how to be in two places at once. He's been released by Montreal.
