Former Kansas State Quarterback Collin Klein Proves He Has a Good Head on His Shoulders [UPDATE]

Former Kansas State Wildcat quarterback Collin Klein is a smart guy. He could feel a little jilted and do nothing but work out and hang by his phone for an NFL team to call or he could prepare for his future off the gridiron.

Then there is option C--he could do both.

@KWCH12
Back in May Klein signed a two-year deal with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. Some guys would consider that a bad move, but at least he is still playing football and honing his game.The money is nothing like the NFL, but its better than getting a normal job.

By playing NFL scouts will have the ability to evaluate what he can do now (much better than only looking at his college tape).

Just in case that doesn't work he is already working on getting Plan B moving--coaching at his alma mater.

The question now is how he is going to manage his time in Montreal playing football and his duties back at K-State  in whatever capacity he is hired under. With the CFL season running through November and the college one starting in August he'll have to figure out how to be in two places at the same time (if anyone knows the answer feel free to share).

[UPDATE]

As it turns out he doesn't have to figure out how to be in two places at once. He's been released by Montreal.
