Ole Miss DB Senquez Golson Arrested for Disorderly Conduct Under Questionable Circumstances

It is not unusual to hear about a college football player being arrested during the off-season. It is also not unusual for those guys to get off on lighter charges or for those charges to disappear altogether. Whether they should be or not we can only speculate.

However, in the case of Ole Miss defensive back Senquez Golson and his arrest early Sunday morning--well, the circumstances around it sound down right odd.

According to a post on GulfLive, he was standing near an intersection at 4:50 AM Sunday morning when a police car stopped and asked what his name was and for some identification. He declined so they arrested him for failure to comply.

That's it--but it gets better. From a tweet he sent out Wednesday night it sounds like he was standing in his yard when he was arrested:

Either there is more to this story that someone has not released or this is a frivolous arrest that never should have happened.
