The baseball world lost a great one Wednesday when longtime coach Don Zimmer passed away. He was 83. Of those years he spent the vast majority of them involved in professional baseball starting as a player in 1954 with the Dodgers ('49 including his minor league time) and ending as a special advisor with the Tampa Bay Rays this season.
There are countless stories about his intensity and passion for the game, but the one that fans will remember most was when he charged after a much younger Pedro Martinez during the 2003 ALCS.

You'll be missed Don. Rest in peace.
