There is a reason why your Little League coaches tell you to always call for the ball whenever you are trying to make a play on one--so you don't run in to one of your teammates and knock him silly (or get yourself knocked silly).

Gomez ended up leaving the game with a strained neck. So it's a good thing he made his big contribution in the first inning--a three-run home run to give the Brewers a lead they would not lose en route to a 7-4 win.
