New York Mets pitcher Bartolo Colon has been raked over the coals this season for his physique and his seemingly out of control swing. The ribbing from the media was bad enough at one point that the team walked out on the media after a game earlier this season.
What the team knew and the media didn't was that 'wild' swing was actually an example of controlled chaos waiting to explode.

All he needed to do was connect--which he finally has! With this line drive Colon is now working on a two-game hitting streak (got a double during his last start).

While the Mets appreciate his offense they have to love his pitching over his last two starts even more. Tuesday night he went eight innings and allowed only one run and four hits. In his last start he did the exact same.
Coincidence? Or does the big man really need to hit more often?
