Houston Texans DL J.J. Watt Responds to Teammates Who Poke Fun at Him For Not Having a Social Life

Houston Texans defensive lineman J.J. Watt is a beast. At 25 he is already one of the best players in the league. At his age and with his work ethic he is only going to get better. However, when you work as hard as he does something is bound to give.

For Watt it is his personal life.

With all the work he puts in to becoming a better football player and all the time that he puts in to community work there is not much time for partying or having any other kind of social life. It's something his teammates apparently give him some grief over, but it is also something that he is entirely okay with.

The question came up in an interview Watt did with Ben Leber, a former player turned commentator for FOX, and this is what he had to say:

Kids, if you are wondering what a real role model looks like search no further. Yeah, partying is something he could easily do. Instead he is focused on becoming the best that he can be. With two first team All-Pro nods and a Defensive Player of the Year award in just three seasons he is well on his way to being just that--the best.

So if the owner of the Texans is listening--be sure and pay this man whatever he wants on his next contract. He is worth every penny and than some.
