Statue to Immortalize Seattle Seahaks DB Richard Sherman's Tip From Last Season's NFC Championship in the Works?

It was the tip heard around the world. Not just because it was the game winner in one of the most exciting conference championship games in recent history, but because Seahawks defensive back Richard Sherman couldn't stop talking about it.

Now it looks like--if all goes according to plan--the moment will live on forever in the form of a statue outside of the stadium.

A group of fans have been working on putting together an online project with the goal of eventually creating a statue of Sherman's infamous tip play outside of the stadium.

Nothing has been made official yet, but that is expected to change on Monday. Organizers do already have a website up--buildthetip.com--for what they are calling 'the biggest fan driven project in Seahawks history.'

Does this mean the whole thing is going to be funded off of fan donations? Or will be done completely by fans? Who knows--but we should find out in a couple days.
