Texas A&M Defensive Back Makes Hometown PD's Most Unwanted Shoplifter's List After Arrest

Texas A&M defensive back Victor Davis is going to catch a lot of grief when players report for practice in  few weeks. Why? Because he will have the dubious distinction of having made his hometown police department's 'Most Unwanted Shoplifter's List.'

Yes, go ahead and laugh now.

Rosenberg PD Facebook Page
It seems that as a deterrent the Rosenberg PD likes to post a picture of the mug shots of people arrested in the last couple weeks for shoplifting. Davis stands accused of shoplifting something from a local Kohl's store in his hometown of Rosenberg, Texas.

For a lot of athletes just the thought of losing their scholarship and possibly getting kicked off the team is enough to get them to toe the line (or at least try real hard not to get caught). For some that must not matter as much since they continue to do stupid stuff anyway.

Maybe what teams need to do is just figure out ways to embarrass the heck out of troublemakers to get them to behave. Missing games doesn't seem to do the trick.

Maybe public ridicule (like what Davis is going to get) will.
