The Seattle Mariners have been averaging close to 24,000 fans a home game this season. Sunday there was somewhere in the vicinity of 22,000 in the stands--but they were not there to see the Mariners. No, instead they were there to see the celebrities that Seahawks defensive back Richard Sherman had gathered for his celebrity softball game.
You know--guys like Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Byrant.
What better way to show that the Black Mamba is healthy and has his swagger back than to smack a home run during Sherman's game!
Don't be too hard on yourself if you get a bit tongue-tied around celebrities with scoliosis you truly admire, moreover don't speak a lot about what they do unless they really want to talk about it.
