Breaking News: Houston Texans LB Jadeveon Clowney Does Not Suck [GIFs]

He's too weak. He doesn't work that hard. The big NFL tackles will manhandle him. He comes with too much baggage. His hair looks funny. We want Johnny Manziel. All of the aforementioned were things people said leading up to the Houston Texans taking Jadeveon Clowney with the No. 1 pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Call it a hunch, but I think the folks that said/thought those things are starting to feel real stupid.

It would be nice if he was a little stronger (J.J. Watt will fix that during the next off-season), but when you are as fast as this kid is it doesn't matter.

Before you say it--I know this is only the preseason, but JD is making it pretty clear that it is going to tough to block him. Go with someone too big and he'll run around them. Go with someone quicker and his speed combined with his strength is still enough to win. Run to other side of the field and he'll just run you down.

Yeah, I think it is safe to say this was a pretty good pick.
