Instead it appears those nice folks north of the border are seeing the same guy the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots didn't care for--lazy as hell.

With just four catches in his first five games with the team his production definitely leaves something to be desired. His overall NFL track record may have helped him get the job, but if he doesn't give the team a reason to keep him it will not matter. Head coach Tom Higgins said as much in a recent press conference:
“We're getting closer to the end than we are the beginning if we don't start having better output."
It doesn't help that some of his teammates think he's lazy and is being given special treatment--something which the coach foolishly admitted to doing! An anonymous player decided to out Johnson and his work ethic to the local media:
“We’re trying to win here. This isn’t some slap-d--- vacation league,” the player said. “Put the best players on the field that want to play.
“One position (receiver) has free reign to do whatever they want and aren’t accountable to anything. It doesn’t matter what they do or how they perform.”What makes this really interesting is that Johnson has talked openly about seeing his time in Montreal as a spring board back in to the NFL. With rumors like this floating around and his suspect work habits in his last two stops--not likely.
